LO5 Evaluation
From my feedback there were no sudden things that needed improvement on immediately. Although I think these are some things that need improving on my website. I think the house style and design could be more modern and is currently quite sparse and simple. Although I think the house style and design of the website could be improved, it is consistent throughout my website. From my user testing it is clear that my website has good navigation and is easy to get around the website. Another improvement my website needs is the layout of the 'About us' page. I feel the page is cluttered and hard to navigate, it needs to be organised better. Also the layout of the 'Home' page needs to be better organised. I feel that the shop may be slightly difficult to navigate because there is the 'quick view' and there is also a separate page with much more information about the product. If someone purchase the product through the 'quick view' then they will not see all the information. So I think it would be better if the 'quick view' option was not on my website. Also the image of the product on the shop page is slightly overlapped by the navigation bar so I would edit that to make it more proportioned. The 'Login/Sign up' pop up does not fit with the house style. There is currently nothing I can do about it because the plugin will not let me edit the actual pop up. Although I can find another one that will support the house style. Finally I think my website should be more interactive. Right now the website is just pictures and images and I feel it needs some animation. However I feel the website is functional and fits the original purpose and the brief I was given.
LO4 User testing
A) Navigation
I made sure that my navigation was working by making sure that my test plan had included the users trying to get on different pages of the website.
B) Internal and External hyperlinks
I have tested the internal and external hyperlinks by getting the users to test the links to Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Also testing the Youtube videos.
C) Page load times
I have tested the loading times by getting the users to test the Quick view link on the products and if the load times are efficient the users have said so. All the users have said that the load times were efficient.
D)Performance of website when using different browsers
I have tested the performance of the website on different browsers by getting the users to state which browser they used to view the website.
E) Consistency of house style
I have tested the consistency of the house style by getting the users to test that the house style is consistent throughout the website.

LO3 Self assessment
Today I have looked at different examples of what I want on my website on other websites. This has helped me learn how to achieve the certain thing
LO2 Advertising
In order for the website to make a good profit there will need to be adverts. Also the products could be sponsored by companies which would bring in more profit.
LO2 Costing
The average web designer will earn £22,591 in a year. To own a domain name it roughly costs £3.99 per month. It also costs £2.99 per month to host the website. Although there are some companies that have a package that includes web hosting and a domain name.
